The proposed antenna operates at three frequencies at 3.3GHz, 6.3GHz and 9 GHz which are mostly used for WLAN (C band) and radar, satellite communications (X band). Two rectangular slots are placed on the ground in order at achieve dual frequencies with good return loss less than -17dB and VSWR less than 1.4. The obtained results are simulated using ANSOFT HFSS software.
2021-09-11T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2022 http://antennajournal.com/index.php/antenna/article/view/35Sector Beam Synthesis in Linear Antenna Arrays using Social Group Optimization Algorithm2022-06-23T16:46:03+00:00S.SRINIVASAREDDYsrinivasareddyvlsi@gmail.comY.V.NARAYANAnarayana_yv@yahoo.co.inD.KRISHNAkrishnadharavath4u@gmail.com
The sector beam based radiation patterns have almost flat top in a two dimensional pattern. It is always a challenging task to synthesize such patterns. In this paper, the sector beams are generated using recently developed evolutionary computing tool known as social group optimization algorithm (SGOA). The technique involving both the amplitude and phase as design parameters is used and both the parameters of 20 elements of linear antenna array (LAA) are determined using the algorithm. The results are analysed in terms of radiation pattern plots. The simulations are carried out in Matlab.
2021-09-11T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2022 http://antennajournal.com/index.php/antenna/article/view/362*4 Circular &2*2 Rectangular Microstrip Patch Antenna Array of 4.2GHz for Satellite Applications2022-06-23T16:51:07+00:00SOWJANYA KESANAsowjanya.kesana@gmail.comNELLURI MOUNIKAmounikanelluri28@gmail.comDIVYA SAI SRI MURUGUDUdivyasaisri1999@gmail.comKORRAPATI GREESHMA SRIkorrapatigreeshma41@gmail.comLAKSHMALA NAVYAMADHURInavyanissi01@gmail.com
Circular micro strip patch antenna array is designed at a frequency of 4.2 GHz. In this paper we are comparing 2x2 rectangular array and 2x4 circular array antenna with 1x4 circular array.2x4 circular array achieves more gain and better radiation pattern and return loss. This band of frequencies more suitable for satellite applications.
2021-09-10T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2022 http://antennajournal.com/index.php/antenna/article/view/37Circularly Polarized Fractal Patch Antenna With Probe Feed Technique For Wi-Max Applications2022-06-23T16:57:57+00:00SOWJANYA KESANAsowjanya.kesana@gmail.comNELLURE NAGA PREM SAIjithuchhinna9@gmail.comONTERU YALLAIAHonteruyallaiah21@gmail.comSOMAVARAPU SAIKRISHNAsaikrishna.somavarapu16@gmail.comSHAIK KHADARVALIkhadarvalishaik348@gmail.com
Circularly polarized Fractal patch antennas at two frequency ranges are to be resonated in this paper. This fractal antenna is performed better by using probe feeding technique. Existing method is resonate at 3.4GHz and proposed method resonating at 2.5 and 3.4GHz frequency ranges. Ground dimensions are 40mm x40mm and substrate dimensions are 26mm x 26mm, and substrate material is RT/Duriod5880. The proposed method involves unit cell structure with a size of 10mm x 10mm. This Paper enhances the frequency ranges and improves the gain and better return loss. These range of frequency ranges mostly useful for Wi-max applications. All Parameters are simulated by using HFSS software.
2021-09-07T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2022
